Space

A holiday in this chalet is a unique experience so you can share and discover our unique environment.
This chalet is unique in its situation between Méribel and Méribel-Mottaret, along the 'truite' piste. A magical environment awaits you in the heart of the mountains. If you like the calm and nature then you will be thoroughly fulfilled. You're not that close to the shops and the access requires winter tires. More details about the location (car, ski and pedestrian access) below in the neighbourhood section.

Ground floor:

First floor:
- kitchen and living room with fireplace

Second floor:
- Bedroom with two double beds (one is a bunk bed, see photo).
- Bedroom with double bed and its dressing
- Bathroom (two washbasin and bath)

We can offer help to book ski passes, ski hire, ski lessons etc.
Linens and towels included.
There is no washing machine in the chalet but you can ask the owner who lives downstair. She will do a washing machine for free depending on her availability.

Interaction

Bénédicte and her husband live here during the winter and are available to welcome you, give you advice etc. He is a member of the ski patrol in Méribel and she is a shepherd (you can buy fresh lamb, cheese and other exceptional local products from her!)
The Méribel Conciergerie team is available by telephone, text or email whenever you need them to help make your stay as pleasant as possible!

Neighborhood

La Rosière, between Méribel and Mottaret is a little hamlet, peaceful and calm. There are no shops or restaurants, only chalets.
It can be accessed by foot, by car or on skis.
*By foot, it's a 10-20min walk depending on your pace. You walk on a nice little snowy trail.
*By car, the access requires snow tyres or chain. The last 20m to the chalet are quite steep. You can still park the car along the road (there is at least three parking spaces along the main road, then it's a 100m walk). You can also park near the sheepfold (before the steep 20m steep road). Then it's a 50m walk to the chalet. If you have winter tyres or chains, there shouldn't be a problem to drive up to the chalet.
*The free shuttle takes you either to Méribel Centre, either to Mottaret. The bus stop is on the upper part of La Rosière. You'll have to walk up for 5min to get there. On the way back, it's a downhill walk!
*On skis you access the chalet by the pedestrian trail from Mottaret. It requires a good level of skiing and it is not advised for beginners.
When skiing from the chalet, you ski down on the pedestrian trail for 200m before joining the Truite ski piste. Again, it is not advised for beginners.

Transit

Parking available in front of the chalet (snow tyres or chains obligatory. more details in the neighbourhood section).
The free bus stop is 5 minutes away walking distance. The shuttle takes you either to Meribel Centre, or Mottaret. The bus stop is on the upper part of La Rosière, so you have to walk up to get there. On the way back, it is a downhill walk.
